Day 3: Tana – Antsirabe
After breakfast at the hotel, depart from Antananarivo towards Antsirabe. Enjoy scenic views of the Malagasy countryside during the journey. Stop at Ambatolampy to visit local aluminum workshops and witness traditional craftsmanship. Explore the bustling market in Ambatolampy for souvenirs and local products. Continue the drive towards Antsirabe, known for its thermal springs and charming colonial architecture. Visit the Lac Tritriva, a volcanic lake surrounded by lush greenery, offering picturesque views and a serene atmosphere. Arrive in Antsirabe and check into your accommodation. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 4: Antsirabe – Morondava
After breakfast, depart from Antsirabe, towards Morondava. Enjoy the picturesque drive through diverse landscapes of rice paddies and rural villages. Stop in Miandrivazo, a small town known as the gateway to the Tsiribihina River. Continue through the scenic western plains of Madagascar, passing by Baobab forests and traditional Malagasy villages. Arrive at the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs near Morondava, a cluster of ancient Baobab trees. Check-in at your accommodation in Morondava. Enjoy a relaxing evening and dinner at a local restaurant, specializing in fresh seafood and regional cuisine.
Day 5 : Morondava – Bekopaka
Depart from Morondava early in the morning. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel or a local cafe before starting your journey. Drive towards Belo-sur-Tsiribihina, a town on the banks of the Tsiribihina River. Cross the river by ferry (if applicable) and continue your journey through the countryside. Stop for lunch in Belo-sur-Tsiribihina or at a picturesque spot along the route. Take in the views of the diverse landscapes, including baobab trees and small villages. Continue your drive towards Bekopaka, the gateway to the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. Arrive in Bekopaka in the late afternoon. Check-in at your accommodation in Bekopaka.

Day 6: Bekopaka gorge de manambolo + petit tsingy
Depart Bekopaka early morning for an unforgettable boat excursion along the Manambolo River, exploring the spectacular Gorge de Manambolo. Towering limestone cliffs draped in lush vegetation create a dramatic backdrop as you glide through this natural wonder. Discover ancient caves like Anjohibe Cave, famed for its rock art and impressive formations.
Return to Bekopaka for a leisurely lunch at a local eatery before venturing to the Petit Tsingy within Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. Guided hiking trails lead through the maze-like formations of the Petit Tsingy, offering panoramic views and a glimpse into Madagascar’s unique geological history.
After a fulfilling day of exploration, return to Bekopaka in the late afternoon. Relax and unwind at your accommodation, reflecting on the day’s adventures over a delicious dinner of Malagasy cuisine at a nearby restaurant.
Day 7: Tsingy of Bemaraha -Grand Tsingy, only from June to October)
Day dedicated to the exploration of the Tsingy of Bemaraha which extends over 200 km. With its coral barriers dating back more than 400 million years, the sharp peaks separated by canyons serving as shelters for several animal species (birds, reptiles, lemurs) and plants, the site is classified as World Heritage. Possibility to organize a visit by dugout canoe of the Manambolo river to admire the caves, stalactites and stalagmites, the famous tomb of the vazimba family.

Day 8: Bekopaka – Morondava
Departure to join Belo and Morondava. Along the road, visit of the Sacred Baobab, the Loving Baobabs, and the famous Baobab Alley at sunset.

Day 9: Morondava – Tana
Depending on your flight schedule, arrangements will be made for transfer to Morondava Airport to catch your domestic flight to Antananarivo. You have two options for returning to Antananarivo: either by a daytime flight or by a comfortable minibus, which entails a longer journey from 5 AM to 8 PM.
Day 10 : Antananarivo – Paris
In Tana, you have some free time before your flight to Paris. If you wish, you can do some shopping at the Digue market or take a stroll to the Upper Town of Tana. It’s a way to extend your vacation a bit longer. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
