Antananarivo – Diégo – Nosy Be – Antananarivo
Day 1: Paris – Tana
Upon arrival in Antananarivo, welcome by our team at the airport. If time permits, we will give a briefing of the trip. If the flight arrives a little late, the briefing will be done the next day. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 2: Tana – Andasibe
After breakfast at the hotel, we leave the capital in the direction of Andasibe National Park which is located 140km from Antananarivo on the RN2. On the way, we will stop in Marozevo, to visit the private reserve Peyreiras to admire the red frog, we can also hold a snake or a chameleon in our hands. We can also visit the butterfly farm to see the reproduction of several animals. We will then continue our journey to Andasibe Park. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 3 : Andasibe
Visit of the Analamazaotra reserve known for its lemurs Indri indri or the dwarf lemur. We may also see a tree boa. The special reserve of Analamazaotra is the forest corridor habitat of sifakas, indri indri, and orchids, wetlands and existence of a forest station. Open all year round, the reserve offers to all its visitors four circuits to discover the hidden treasures of its exceptional fauna and flora. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 4 : Andasibe – Tana
Explore additional trails or visit the Mitsinjo Reserve for more nature experiences. Return to Antananarivo, night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 5: Tana – Diego Suarez (flight), the Three Bays
To reach Diego Suarez, it s necessary totake a scheduled flight to the city. Upon arrival, we head directly to the Three Bays (Sakalava Bay, Pigeons Bay, and Dunes Bay). Wild and perfectly preserved, they offer travelers a small piece of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. To reach these bays, the tour will pass by Cap Miné where colonial-era fortifications stand, and will end the day with a magnificent sunset as return to Diego Suarez. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 6: Diégo – Joffre Ville (Montagne d’Ambre)
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Joffreville, a quaint town characterized by colonial-era buildings. It serves as the starting point for our excursion to Montagne d’Ambre. Accompanied by a local guide (mandatory in all national parks), embark on a hike where encounter with rare animal and plant species is possible. It’s a true delight to discover the strangler fig tree or spot the smallest chameleons. This park offers us a complete immersion into nature. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 7: Joffreville – Tsingy Rouges – Ankarana
Breakfast at the hotel, on this fourth day, visit the Tsingy Rouges, located about twenty kilometers from the town. To reach there, pass through a fishing village and several bridges. The Tsingy are unique geological formations originally formed due to deforestation in the region. Erosion has shaped crevices and strange formations, offering a wide range of colors from the red of laterite to very light pink. The area is full of wonders that are well worth a visit. Continue on to Ankarana. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 8: Ankarana
Full day in the Ankarana National Park, formed as a result of slow karstic erosion. This special reserve is interesting for several reasons. Resembling the Tsingy of Bemaraha, the Tsingy of Ankarana captivates with its biodiversity, historical significance, and cultural richness. The site also offers opportunities for spelunking, providing another perspective to appreciate its beauty.Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 9: Ankarana – Ankify – Nosy Be
At Ankify, a small port village, which board a speedboat bound for Nosy Be. From Ankarana to Ankify, the tour will pass through cocoa and coffee plantations. The intoxicating scent of ylang-ylang flowers will accompany throughout the journey. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 10: Nosy Be – Nosy Komba – Nosy Tanikely – Nosy Be
Numerous small islands offer opportunities for catamaran or motorboat excursions around Nosy Be: Nosy Komba, Nosy Tanikely. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 11 : Nosy Be
The second day will be free for us to fully enjoy the legendary beauty of the “Perfume Island”. During this stay, it’s essential to explore the island’s magnificent beaches. The Lokobe Nature Reserve is also a must-visit site. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 12: Nosy Be out/ fly back to Antananarivo
Your stay in Madagascar concludes in splendor. Depart for Antananarivo where will await the flight to Paris. Night and half-board at the hotel. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
Day 13: Antananarivo – Paris
In Tana, you have some free time before your flight to Paris. If you wish, you can do some shopping at the Digue market or take a stroll to the Upper Town of Tana. It’s a way to extend your vacation a bit longer. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.END OF OUR SERVICES
